With over 40 years’ experience in aerospace and engineering Brendon leads the strategic direction of BSI’s aerospace sector. Brendon collaborates with industry bodies to drive innovation and is an international speaker, leading the way for a safe, secure future for the sector. Previous experience includes 26 years as a British Army Officer and Aircraft Engineer, both writing and implementing the quality management system and providing technical support to British Army aviation. He has also worked at a senior level in manufacturing in aerospace and other high-risk sectors.
Kate Field, Global Head of Health, Safety and Wellbeing, BSI
Kate is BSI’s global occupational health, safety and wellbeing expert, driving the global strategy/agenda for creating a safer workplace. An ambassador for cultural change, that puts wellbeing, PPE equality and safety at the forefront, Kate inspires colleagues and stakeholders globally to make a difference.
With over 18 years’ industry experience in occupational health and safety, Kate is a recognized consultant, trainer and qualified lecturer. Prior to joining BSI, Kate was Head of Information and Intelligence at the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health, leading on H&S research strategy and technical content globally.
Other experience includes Regulatory Inspector and policy and programme lead for the HSE, and health and safety expert at AgustaWestland (now Leonardo), Bureau Veritas, and at easyJet.
