Al Ain Municipality is awarded ISO 22301 certification

Al Ain Municipality recently certified to ISO 22301, Business Continuity Management. The certificate was handed to the Director General of Al Ain Municipality Dr Matar Mohammed Al Nuaimi by Yahya El Olabi, General Manager - Abu Dhabi, BSI Group. 
This is the first municipality in the UAE to achieve ISO 22301. This certification is part of a wider plan to implement ISO 22301 into ten other government institutions throughout the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. 

Mr Al Naimi, stated that ‘the importance of business continuity in their organization was significant, in order to continue providing an excellent service throughout the city in times of any crisis or emergency, without disrupting their day to day work. It has given us the ability to absorb any sudden shocks and work through various instances’. 

Yahya El Olabi expressed that ‘this certification is a proud moment for the Al Ain Municipality management and team, it provides evidence of the outstanding level of effort and work that went into attaining this certification. This certification highlights the vision of the municipal system to enhance customer satisfaction, with a desired goal of achieving excellence and global best practices to enhance the quality of life throughout the emirate’.
