Mashreq achieves ISO 9001:2008 certification

Mashreq achieves ISO 9001:2008 certification from BSI for its Operations Group.

United Arab Emirates, Dubai, 27th January 2011:Mashreq, one of the UAE's leading National financial institutions, has been awarded the ISO 9001:2008 Certification by the British Standards Institute (BSI) for its Operations Group.
H.E. Abdul Aziz Al Ghurair, CEO of Mashreq accepted the award from H.E Guy Warrington - Counsel General for the British Embassy in Dubai.

Al Ghurair commented, "This achievement is a key milestone for Mashreq and highlights the efforts put in by the Operations Group to ensure that service levels are at par with international standards. Attaining the ISO 9001:2008 certification is yet another commitment to our customers to improve all aspects of our business in order to serve them better. We strive for continual improvement and aim to motivate staff and have satisfied customers through effective applications of these systems."

ISO 9001 for Quality Management is the most widely adopted Quality Management standard in the world. This certification recognizes Mashreq's commitment towards its customers and the high level of process efficiency achieved, based on international quality standards.
