BSI strengthens position in Australia with acquisition of NCS International

BSI, the business standards company, today announced it has completed the acquisition of NCS International (NCSI), a wholly owned subsidiary of The National Association of Testing Authorities, Australia.

Code of practice on Energy Management of Cleanrooms published

The correct implementation of cleanrooms can typically contribute to 80% of a facility’s total energy bill. The need to reduce this burden was identified by BSI with the creation of energy management code of practice.

New standard published to help reduce contamination risk from ground gases

BSI, the UK’s National Standards Body, has published a new standard that will help to reduce the potential risks to people, buildings and the general environment from contaminated land and “brownfield” sites where toxic ground gases exist.
