Trade Associations and Professional Bodies
Trade associations and professional bodies choose to sponsor a PAS because it improves the performance of their member companies and shows leadership in their sector.
We develop and publish the PAS on the sponsor’s behalf, using our expert and proven process.
For example, we worked with the International Association of Trampoline Parks to respond to growing industry and public concern over accidents at trampoline parks. We brought together experts from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA), British Gymnastics, and other industry bodies to help minimize risk to trampoline park users – many of whom are children – to ensure they have a safe and enjoyable experience.
This resulted in PAS 5000 being published. PAS 5000 outlines requirements for the construction of an indoor trampoline park. It also covers day-to-day park operating and maintenance requirements.
The International Association of Trampoline Parks have now made holding a PAS 5000 compliance certificate one of its requirements for UK membership.
