Board Changes at BSI

BSI, the business standards company, announces two Board changes. John Regazzi, a Non-executive Director, retired from the Board on 31 May 2015 after completing nine years of distinguished service. The Board is grateful to him for his very many contributions throughout that time.

BSI is pleased to announce the appointment on 1 June 2015 of Alicja Lesniak as a Non-executive Director. She has been an Advisor to the Board since 1 October 2014.

After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant Alicja moved into industry before returning to Arthur Andersen to become Finance Director of UK Partnerships. Following that, her roles included Chief Financial Officer of BBDO EMEA, Chief Financial Officer of Ogilvy and Mather Worldwide, and UK Managing Director of J Walter Thompson. Until 2009 Alicja was Chief Financial Officer of Aegis plc.

Alicja is currently a non-executive Director and Chair of the Audit Committee at both Channel 4 Television Corporation and Next Fifteen Communications Group plc.
