Construction

The government sees construction as a key sector of the economy so, with funding from the Department of Business, Innovation and Skills, we’ve developed a range of new standards for it. The overall aims are to encourage innovation in the construction process, to spread best practice in the use of materials, maintenance and general working practices, and to drive forward particular government priorities such as Building Information Modelling (BIM).
