What is an external clinician?

Want to be an external clinician for BSI?BSI The Netherlands (2797) is a leading Notified Body; we review medical devices to ensure that they conform to the requirements of the European Directives and Regulations. BSI UK (0086) is a UK Approved Body able to provide conformity assessments under the new UKCA scheme.

BSI's team of technical experts has a broad range of industry and regulatory experience, allowing us to review most aspects of these devices. However, we sometimes need additional expertise; this is where your clinical and specialist knowledge would be invaluable, helping us to ensure that patient safety remains the focus of BSI product reviews.

Are you a senior scientist or clinician with at least four years’ professional experience, including a significant period in a clinical environment? We are also keen to hear from you to support BSI in assessing IVD medical devices for conformity in the European Union.
