Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) for our public training open enrollment classes.
Q: Do you accept Credit Cards?
A: Yes. BSI proudly accepts all major credit cards, including VISA, AMERICAN EXPRESS, MASTERCARD, and DISCOVER. In addition, BSI is registered with the Authorize.Net Verified Merchant Seal program. We have partnered with Authorize.Net, a leading payment gateway since 1996, to accept credit cards and electronic check payments safely and securely for our customers. The Authorize.Net Payment Gateway manages the complex routing of sensitive customer information through the electronic check and credit card processing networks. Q: Do you accept checks and/or Purchase Orders?
A: Yes. When you come to the payment options of your registration process, a drop-down box will appear that is has a chosen default of "Pay by Credit Card". Click the drop-down box and choose either "Pay by Check" or "Pay by Purchase Order" and then finish your registration. Follow payment instructions on your Registration Record.
Q: What is your cancellation and refund policy?
A: Full refund if canceling within twelve (12) business days. Please see our Policies and Guidelines page for more information.
Q: What do the course fees include?
A: Course fees include admission to the training, training manuals and training materials including morning and afternoon refreshments. Course Fees may also include certification costs for courses. Fees do not include meals, accommodations or transportation for students. Fees do not cover breakfast or lunch for students unless otherwise stated.
Q: What is the dress code?
A: Casual business attire and/or military or company uniform is the usual attire worn however we want you to be comfortable so we do not have an enforced dress code. Our main goal is for you to be as comfortable as possible. Temperatures in the meeting rooms may vary, so please bring a sweater or jacket to ensure your personal comfort.
Q: Can I leave my personal property in the classroom?
A: Attendees are responsible for all personal belongings during the course while in the hotel or at the course venue; this includes all breaks. BSI cannot assume responsibility for any missing or damaged articles. Please keep your phones, laptops, purses or any other valuables in your hotel room or with you at all times.
Q: Do you offer group rate discounts?
A: BSI offers group rate discounts for those organizations sending 2 or more students to the same class. Please contact us at (Insert Number) for group rates. Group Rates must be applied before registering online. In addition, we do offer Bulk Training Discounts for 10+ people.
Q: Do you offer military/Government discounts?
A: BSI is proud to offer active military and government discounts for active duty personnel attending an open enrollment class. Government discounts vary for each course. Please contact us at (713) (insert number) for the military/government promotional discount code before registering. Discount must be applied before registering online.
Q: Do you offer Continuing Education Units (CEUs) or Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits?
A: Yes, please see our Continuing Education webpage for more details.
Q: What if I have an emergency and need to leave the class?
A: We understand that emergency situations arise and we will make every effort to work with you by either refunding the cost of the days you did not attend or by arranging your transfer to a future class to make up the days you did not attend.
Q: Will the speakers be available for questions after class?
A: Yes, in almost all instances the speakers and course hosts are available to meet with you privately on breaks and before and after class to answer your questions.
Q: Are hotel discounts available?
A: Yes, in most cases BSI blocks a certain number of rooms at a discounted rate for our students. It is on a first come, first serve basis. Please check the course webpage you are registering for, for the hotel block code and hotel phone numbers.
Q: Can we bring our laptops to the class?
A: Yes, but please refrain from continually typing throughout the class as this may disturb your neighbors.
