BSI today announced the completion of its acquisition of the Supply Chain Security Division of First Advantage Corporation. BSI assumes ownership of First Advantage’s Supplier Compliance Manager® Web based C-TPAT, AEO and PIP supplier assessment tool; Quantitative Risk Solutions loss prevention assessment program and its proprietary databases. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Based in Phoenix, Arizona, the Supply Chain Security Division of First Advantage is a strategic addition to BSI’s business. “By synchronizing the Supply Chain Security applications with assessment services and enterprise software solutions, BSI now offers customers a unique proposition encompassing both supply chain security and compliance” said Dan Purtell, Vice President, Supply Chain Solutions.
This acquisition is an important strategic step that emphasizes BSI’s vision of providing comprehensive supply chain risk mitigation solutions to the market. We have developed this portfolio with the goal of automating the supplier risk assessment process across the entire supply chain. Our patented IP coupled with our capability of delivering onsite risk assessments globally advances BSI’s vision of a seamless and robust offering in risk mitigation” said Todd VanderVen, President BSI America.
