Todd VanderVen joins BSI as the new President of BSI Management Systems, America

Todd VanderVen joined BSI July 16, 2008 as the new President of BSI Management Systems, America.

Todd brings an extensive international experience to BSI, having managed complex businesses around the world within technology and business solutions. Since obtaining his M.B.A in Marketing and Finance from the William E. Simon Graduate School of Business Administration, University of Rochester, Todd has developed a global presence.

He began a successful career with Eastman Kodak where he worked in both the Office Imaging Division and the Health Imaging Division and had “end to end” responsibility for product development, manufacturing, marketing and market development, including global sales and distribution agreements. Todd held the title of VP Marketing and Operations for all of Kodak’s Health business outside the US, based in Geneva, Switzerland, until he returned to the US to become Chief Marketing/Strategy Officer for the Health Imaging Division in 2002.

Since leaving Kodak in 2005, Todd has been with SGS as Senior Vice President and member of their Operations Committee and was responsible for global strategy and new business development for all SGS divisions. In his time at SGS, Todd accrued an excellent understanding of the global certification market - both its drivers and the customer requirements that need to be satisfied through local differentiation.

Todd’s global reach in activities combined with his diverse functional capabilities and extensive experience within the standards market and related industries will certainly be a driving force for the continued financial and business growth of BSI Management Systems, America.
