Business Development Executive

The Business Development Executive is to promote the sales of certification, training and other products and services provided by BSI.


Key Result / Areas:

  • To identify key market prospects and generate business leads and opportunities through customer calls, emails and visits
  • Effective data management and allocation of leads to facilitate future sales activities
  • Actively use the available Customer Relationship Management tool
  • Adopt a team approach to working both within own group and other departments
  • Coordinate with the Sales Team to realise leads into sales and the Marketing Team to promote new and premium solutions
  • Support in organizing of seminars and workshops with clients and partners
  • Obtain market, industry and competitor information and trends to develop effective business strategies

Dimensions/Performance Measures:

  • Achievement of quality sales leads quota set
  • Generation of monthly business leads and opportunities summary report
  • Realisation of scheduled promotional events
  • Management of clientele base.


  • Diploma or Degree in Business or Marketing or related discipline
  • Passion in business development and customer-oriented
  • Resourceful, motivated and committed individual, keen to learn and perform in a Team environment
  • Pleasant personality with good articulation and phone etiquette
  • Organized and meticulous with experience in using Customer Relationship Management tools
  • Experience in the ISO Certification Industry will be an advantage
  • Applicants without experience may also apply
