To carry out assessments of clients' Management Systems to ensure that they meet the requirements of International Standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and other standards where appropriately trained.
Assessments will usually follow one of the following formats:
- Pre-assessments to evaluate readiness for formal assessment
- Initial assessments at which a recommendation is made on the Client's suitability for registration; & thereafter
- Continuing assessments to ensure that operating practices continue to meet requirements
Reassessment is carried out by Strategic Reviews, through which the Assessor will analyse, in conjunction with the client, the maintenance and development of the management system together with the business relationship with a view to identifying opportunities for improvement to both.
