Trade Association Partnerships

BSI has partnered with SAC, AAEI, ICPA, LIIEA, AAFA, FDRA, I.E. Canada, BSR, Medical Device Supply Chain Council, OIA, Rx-360, ATA, and TAPA in an effort to address today's supply chain industry challenges and needs.

Each of the associations below bring something unique to their members and communities. By joining these associations, BSI is able to increase their awareness of industry trends and challenges, and provide assistance through collaborative efforts and committee participation. BSI is honored to be working with these associations to help promote secure, responsible, and sustainable supply chains.

The Sustainable Apparel Coalition is the apparel, footwear and home textile industry’s foremost alliance for sustainable production. The Coalition’s main focus is on building the Higg Index, a standardized supply chain measurement tool for all industry participants to understand the environmental and social and labor impacts of making and selling their products and services. By measuring sustainability performance, the industry can address inefficiencies, resolve damaging practices, and achieve the environmental and social transparency that consumers are starting to demand. By joining forces in a Coalition, we can address the urgent, systemic challenges that are impossible to change alone.

The Supplier Compliance Audit Network (SCAN) is an industry trade association that provides a systematic approach whereby mutually acceptable global compliance standards are achieved in reducing audit and operational redundancy for common supply chain stakeholders while maintaining confidentiality.

The American Apparel & Footwear Association (AAFA) is the national trade association representing apparel, footwear and other sewn products companies, and their suppliers, which compete in the global market.  AAFA delivers a unified voice on key legislative and regulatory issues and provides a collaborative forum to promote best practices and innovation. FDRA was the first and remains the only trade organization focused solely on the footwear industry. Founded in 1944, FDRA represents the entire footwear industry from small family owned footwear businesses to global footwear companies. FDRA provides its members with information on retail and consumer trends, sourcing and compliance, product safety, intellectual property, customs, and many other issues to help boost companies’ business.

ICPA is a non-profit, global trade compliance community whose mission is to provide networking opportunities and resources to individuals involved in international trade compliance. ICPA was established by Ann Lister and Lynda Westerfield to disseminate information relevant to import/export and other international trade related matters, monitor and participate in international trade issues and trends with the goal to change and influence policy development in the global trade arena and more.

Rx-360 is a not for profit consortium led by volunteers from the Pharmaceutical and Biotech industry including both manufacturers and suppliers. The purpose is to enhance the security of the pharmaceutical supply chain and to assure the quality and authenticity of the products moving through the supply chain. The organization's mission is to protect patient safety by sharing information and developing processes related to the integrity of the healthcare supply chain and the quality of materials within the supply chain.
