For any organizational initiative, a key determinant of its success is Top Management attention.  This is why one of the requirements in any common management system standards (with reference to Annex SL) required Top Management to assign the roles, responsibilities and authorities to relevant personnel (commonly known as Management System Managers) to ensure

  • The established Management System confirms to the requirements
  • The performance of management system reported to top management

Note: Appointment of a single member of management as the organisation’s Management Representative (MR) is not mandatory.

This course will overall cover the essential roles, responsibilities and authorities which needed by relevant assigned Management Systems Managers (MSM) and provide a wonderful platform for sharing of experiences and ideas.
