Mr Simon Cheung, the Executive Director of Paul Y. Engineering Group (“Paul Y.”) received BIM Level 2 verification from Mr Enoch Lee, the General Manager of BSI Hong Kong on 12 September 2019. Paul Y. is one of the first batch of companies in receiving BIM Level 2. The achievement of Paul Y. demonstrates its insight in complying with BIM.
Building Information Modelling (BIM) is the management of information through the whole life cycle of a built asset, from initial design all the way through to construction, maintaining and finally de-commissioning, through the use of digital Modelling. PAS 1192-2 refers to the specification for information management for the capital/delivery phase of construction projects using BIM.
