Seminar: Road to Improve Occupational Health and Safety and Energy Management

6 June 2019

The Business Continuity Institute (BCI) has published the Horizon Scan report 2019 by conducting an online survey with continuity and resilience professionals to gain insight on the biggest threats and disruptions to organizations. The report highlights that health and safety incidents was the second biggest and the costliest disruption in the past 12 months.

In view of this, we held the seminar "Road to Improve Occupational Health and Safety and Energy Management" on 6 June, 2019. Our Operation, Compliance & Risk Director, Ir Stephen Yu, introduced the detailed clauses and the key changes of the two latest standards, ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 50001:2018.

Besides, we are also pleased to have Mr Jack Lai, the HSE Manager of Continental Engineering Corporation (Hong Kong Office) to share with us the challenges in obtaining ISO 45001 certification.

Ms Davis Leung, our Senior Business Development Manager shared how certified PPE can save your life. She also inspired the audiences that whether tested PPE equals to safe PPE.
