Get an alert whenever a standard changes – Keeping up with what’s relevant and monitor what has changed can be a struggle, which is why we’ve introduced personalized individual and group email alerts, and Tracked Changes documents into BSOL. Tracked Changes is a version of a standard that indicates a change has been made, during the standards revision process, between the active standard and its previous version. Additions, deletions, and other formatting and/or content revisions are clearly displayed as underlined and strike through texts, ensuring all changes made between the two documents are quickly and easily identified.

✅ Adoption Gap

To make sure that our customers can comply with and take advantage of the latest standards content, all “pure” ISO and IEC standards will be made available within BSOL for customers who also take international or European standards as an addition to their subscription. This means that any delays between the adoption of standards will not affect BSOL customers. You will be able to view the bibliographic data for each standard or download the full text.

Customers will be able to add the standards to their ISO* or IEC* custom collection while BSI goes through the formal adoption process at which point the “pure” ISO or IEC will be removed and replaced by the British adoption. Of course, any standards that are not adopted by BSI will remain in your collection.
