School of Mechanical, Aerospace and Civil Engineering – University of Manchester

The School runs undergraduate courses in mechanical, aerospace and civil engineering and a number of specialist MSc courses.  It has over 80 members of academic staff, over 1,000 undergraduates, 400 taught full-time and part-time postgraduate students, and over 200 postgraduate research students.



The School is one of nine that make up the University’s Faculty of Science and Engineering.  All have a strong reputation for teaching and learning, and for producing employable graduates.  Its programmes are designed to provide flexibility of choice and they are continually revised to reflect new developments in each subject area.
