As Director of BSI Cybersecurity and Information Resilience, Colman is responsible for ensuring BSI fulfils the promise it makes to all of its clients – “to be a strategic partner critical to their growth and success”.

Colman is dedicated to helping market leading companies from all sectors solve critical corporate information issues by providing strategic advice and solutions for the holistic compliance, protection and management of their most valuable asset – information.

Since the inception of Espion (now BSI Cybersecurity and Information Resilience) in 2001, Colman has been at the helm, overseeing the development and execution of the firm’s strategy. Through instilling a culture of knowledge and innovation, he has led and directed the division to become one of Europe’s leading and award-winning corporate information firms.

Colman has specialised in information security for over 20 years and has extensive consultancy and management experience at Director and Board level in all verticals. In addition to founding the Irish Honeynet Project (a research project providing hacking figures for the Irish community) Colman also established the National High Tech Crime Forum, which is currently chaired by the Irish Bankers Federation.

His commitment to tackling industry issues has garnered widespread recognition and resulted in the firm’s appointment by the Government to advise on Ireland’s Cyber Security Strategy.
