How can we be sure that products and services are useful for everyone in society? Despite companies acknowledging the need for accessibility, we’ve all come across examples of products that would be difficult for people with disabilities use, or services that favour some and discriminate against others, for example the elderly. Standards can contribute to the accessible design of products and services in a number of ways, and the purpose of this course is to help you ensure the standards your committee is working on result in products and services for the benefit of all.
