BSI Canada announces 2020 Award of Excellence nominees

Five organizations nominated for their commitment to quality and resilience

The BSI Canada Award of Excellence, first awarded in 2011, recognizes clients who have demonstrated a culture of excellence and continual improvement in their business. The 2019 winner was BMO, who were recognized for their Information Security Management System.

Speaking about this year’s slate of nominees, BSI Canada’s Sales Director, Pierre Dovala, stated, “2020 was an important year as we saw that quality, sustainability, and health and safety remain key global themes, cyber attacks continue to disrupt business, and data privacy remains a huge concern. In evaluating the nominees for the BSI Canada Award of Excellence, the review committee looks at several key factors including audit performances, management systems, and business results. This year’s nominees represent multiple sectors including a leading construction company, medical device manufacturers, and a prominent Canadian financial institution.

The winner of the 2020 BSI Canada Award of Excellence will be announced in Q1 2022.
