ISO 26362:2009 Access Panels in Market, opinion and Social Research

In December 2009, Standards Australia published the Australian Standard for Access Panels in Market, Opinion and Social Research (AS/ISO 26362:2009).

The Standard specifies the terms and definitions as well as the service requirements for organizations and professionals who own or use access panels for market, opinion and social research. It develops the criteria against which access panel providers can be evaluated, and which quality of access panels can be assessed.

ISO 26362 provides definitions and guidelines for:

  • Good practice
  • Addressing issues such as recruitment, validation of identity, size and profile of panels
  • Addressing any limitations and exploit their potential to the fullest
  • Evaluating access panels and assessing their quality
