Egg Corp Assured (ECA)

Australian Egg Corporation Limited (AECL) has established Egg Corp Assured (ECA), which is a national Egg Quality Assurance Program designed to help commercial egg producers develop an approved Quality Assurance Program for their business and to gain recognition.

The ECA Quality Assurance Program addresses issues including:

  • Food safety 
  • Biosecurity 
  • Animal welfare
  • Egg labelling 
  • Environmental sustainability 

These programs must be audited by a recognized and registered third-party certification body like BSI. We can provide the confidence and recognition that you may be seeking.

Clients can look to ECA as a mark of a quality product produced under strict guidelines. Only Egg businesses that have had their quality assurance program audited against ECA Standards by an accredited ECA auditor, are entitled to apply for the ECA trademark.
