What is AS/NZS 1801?

AS/NZS 1801:1997 is the Australian and New Zealand  standard for Occupational Protective Helmets. All helmets that are used on worksites must be made and tested to this specification. The standard outlines the best-practice procedures and materials that need to be used when manufacturing the helmet, to ensure it's safe for use and complies with Australian and New Zealand OHS safety standards.
