Brian’s experience and achievements span project management, construction management and facilities management (FM). He is an experienced project management corporate educator, having worked continuously with a global energy company for the past 15 years. Brian's primary interest is in an integrated process for the delivery and operation of assets. As a member of BSI’s FM Strategy Group and FM Technical Committee, as well as the ISO TC 267 Facility Management, he is well placed to advise on current best practices and emerging trends. Brian is the co-author of Total Facility Management published by Wiley, now in its fifth edition, and the technical author of more than a dozen British and international standards.

Brian holds a doctorate from the University of Reading and is a Fellow of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and the Chartered Institute of Building. Over the years, he has been appointed to professorships in Sweden, Australia and the UK.

Nick is an experienced Facilities Manager and MBA graduate with international experience across multiple industries in both the public and private sectors. Immediately prior to joining G&T in the Spring of 2022 he worked at BSRIA as their Principal FM Consultant.

Nick has background of experience from within the facilities management and construction industries, where he has worked on single residences to multimillion pound commercial projects and going concerns. Nick has worked across a diverse portfolio of service industries such as education, hospitality, travel, healthcare, retail, defence, and government.

Nick provides fact-based guidance and consultancy services that will help those involved in designing, constructing and operating services in the built environment; to improve cost, quality, time and predictability of performance.

Nick has been an active participant to the creation and dissemination of British and International Standards since 2018 and at the end of 2022 was officially appointed to Chair the BSI Technical FM standards committee.

Adrian Brooks BSc (Hons), MBA, MRICS is a Principal in Avison Young’s Workplace and Facility Management business, focused on the delivery of a broad range of services for property owners and corporate occupiers. Adrian has advised organisations in both the private and public sectors on their property and facilities matters for over 30 years.  He is Chairman of the FM Strategy Group and Member of the Construction & Built Environment Sector Policy and Strategy Committee for the British Standard Institution.

Adrian is the co-author of Total Facility Management published by Wiley, now in its fifth edition and has lectured internationally on Property and Facility Management.
