Emergency Lighting Kitemark installation scheme

If your business is involved in the design, installation, inspection, test, certification, and/or maintenance of emergency lighting systems, BSI Kitemark certification could be a good way of differentiating your business.

To achieve the Kitemark we check the quality and safety of work carried out on a regular basis. This certification scheme is built in a modular format which covers design, installation, inspection, testing, and maintenance. When you have successfully achieved this certification you will also be registered with BAFE on the SP-203-4 scheme.

Fire alarm installation Kitemark scheme

Based on the BAFE SP203 Scheme, the BSI Kitemark for Fire Alarm Installation recognizes that many companies specialize in certain aspects of fire alarm services. By using a flexible modular structure, SP203 will allow your company to gain Kitemark certification in all the scheme modules listed, or just those modules under which you are competent to work: system design; installation; commissioning and handover; maintenance.

BAFE registration is voluntary but very important for those in the UK fire safety and protection industry and many organizations now require it of companies that install or maintain their fire safety systems.
