Craig Smith FCCA, Group Finance Director Member of the Executive and the Banking and General Purposes Committees
Craig Smith joined the Company as Group Finance Director in August 2011. A Chartered Certified Accountant, following his graduation from the University of St Andrews he began his career with Coats Viyella PLC, undertaking finance roles of increasing seniority in Australia, North Africa and both Western and Eastern Europe. On his return to the UK he was European Finance Director for two large American corporations in the product identification and printing ink industries. Prior to joining BSI he was Group Finance Director of two UK listed companies, Huntleigh Technology PLC and Management Consulting Group PLC. |

Jim Newell Group HR Director
With extensive UK and international experience, Jim joined BSI in March 2009 from TI Automotive where he was Global HR and Communications Director. Prior to this he held positions of VP of HR and Director at Land Rover University in North America, and HR Director at British Aerospace. |

Tony Wales Director of Legal Affairs and Company Secretary
Tony joined BSI as Director of Legal Affairs and Company Secretary in January 2010 bringing with him extensive international experience. He was previously SVP and General Counsel of AOL International and prior to this he was General Counsel and Company Secretary at the Economist Group. Tony has an MA Jurisprudence from Oxford University. |

David Brown Director, Corporate Development
Responsible for strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, David has held senior appointments in both the US and the UK, with specific responsibility for strategy and M&A in KPMG, Arthur D Little, Morgan Crucible, TRW/Lucas Varity and Rolls Royce. |

Mike Low Director, BSI Standards
Before joining BSI in 2003, Mike was Director of Group Strategy and Performance at Amey plc and MD of Amey Rail. Prior to this he was MD of British Energy plc's UK generation division and a main board Director. He has also previously served as Director of Health, Safety and Environment for Nuclear Electric and subsequently Technical and Business Development Director. Todd joined BSI in 2008 from SGS where he was Senior Vice President responsible for global strategy and development for all SGS divisions. Prior to this he held several senior positions at Eastman Kodak including COO for Kodak’s Healthcare business outside the US and Chief Marketing Officer for their Healthcare Division. |

With a career of more than 25 years in IT services, outsourcing and management consultancy, Rob joined BSI in 2008 having held managing director and senior management positions at LogicaCMG, EDS and Hedra. He has extensive commercial experience working with clients in the transport, supply chain, manufacturing and retail sectors. |
