The BSI Kitemark has been awarded Business Superbrands status for the first time this year, adding extra weight to the drive to push the BSI Kitemark for Garage Services initiative even further forward.
The announcement follows a robust selection process taking into account the views of an independent and voluntary council of experts and over 1,500 business professionals. A Business Superbrand is one which has established the finest reputation in its field, and offers customers emotional and/or tangible advantages over competitors which (consciously or subconsciously) customers want, recognise and are confident about investing in. Business Superbrands must represent quality, reliability and distinction.
In addition, The BSI Group has been included in the top 500 league of Business Superbrands for the fourth consecutive year. It has moved up to 184th position this year – a rise of almost 200 places. The BSI Kitemark, on its first appearance in the top 500, achieved a position of 243 which is a significant position in the top half of the table.
The BSI stamp of approval has become extremely desirable among many business leaders and decision makers. The organisation operates globally by inspiring confidence and delivering assurance to clients with standards-based solutions in more than 100 countries.
The news that the BSI Kitemark has achieved Business Superbrands status in its own right is a significant boost for both the Kitemark for Garage Services and the Vehicle Body Repair initiatives, which aim to improve the standards, service and quality of garages and bodyshops.
