Understanding and Implementation courses
BSI offers a selection of Emergency Lighting courses. The Introduction course gives a basic overview of the standards and legislation involved in Emergency Lighting; there is a facilitated workshop for experienced engineers who want to discuss practical solutions and we provide a more advanced Certificate course accredited by ICEL. Each of these courses addresses the new Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order which, since its introduction in October 2006, all buildings must comply with.
Introduction to Emergency Lighting
An introduction to the standards that are required under Emergency Lighting legislation, and their application, including BS 5266-1 Code of Practice for Emergency Lighting ‑ designed to help engineers to comply with the new Fire Safety Order. Read more details or book now.
Emergency Lighting Workshop
This new one-day intermediate-level workshop course provides those engineers with a basic knowledge of Emergency Lighting standards with an opportunity to generate and discuss worked project examples, collaborating and sharing experiences under the guidance of the expert tutor. Emergency Lighting for the Fire Safety Order combined with Competent Engineering Certificate (accredited by ICEL)
This one-day course (accredited by ICEL) has been updated to include the latest standards on photometric data presentation and automatic testing. A Competent Engineering Certificate will enable engineers to demonstrate their knowledge and training. Read more details or book now.
