20 May 2008
BSI Group Headquarters, Chiswick, London
New lightning protection standards mean a fundamental change to the way we build in the UK. Standards of increased complexity mean contractors must develop a thorough understanding of new technical demands.
Are you fully aware of what the changes will mean for you and your organization’s procedures?
In August 2008, BS 6651:1999 Code of Practice for protection of structures against lightning is being withdrawn and replaced by the BS EN 62305 series of Standards on Protection Against Lightning.
This new series of standards covers the protection of:
- Structures, their services and contents
- People within or adjacent to the structures.
What changes do you need to make to your current practices? Do you know how to carry out the required risk assessment correctly?
Attend this BSI event to learn more.
