This internationally recognized code establishes rules of safety governing the design, fabrication, and inspection of boilers and pressure vessels, and nuclear power plant components during construction. These rules are set out to protect life and property, and to provide a margin for deterioration in service.

Good news for stampholders
You no longer need to have the hard copy of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code 2007 for stampholding purposes, the electronic format is now acceptable.
