Utilities and building interiors

BSI provides standards and publications offering guidance and specification on sanitary installations, wiring and other utilities and interior finishes.

Sanitary standards apply to private dwellings, residential and nursing homes for older people, workplaces, shops and shopping malls, public toilets and temporary toilets, petrol stations, schools, theatres, cinemas, exhibition centres, libraries, museums, hotels, restaurants, licensed pubs, nightclubs and sports facilities.
