All WTO members are required to establish National Enquiry Points (in accordance with the provisions of Article 10.1, 10.2 and 10.3 of the Agreement on Technical Barriers to Trade).
The points are able to answer all reasonable enquiries from other members and interested parties as well as provide the necessary information about any technical regulations, any standards or any conformity assessment procedures adopted or proposed within its territory by central or local government bodies.
BSI manages the UK WTO/TBT Enquiry Point for information on standards and conformity assessment activities.
