CEN Environmental training programme in 2010

The CEN Environmental Helpdesk has announced new Environmental training sessions in 2010. CEN Technical Committees delegates are invited to participate in a one-day interactive course to explore the growing need to address environmental issues during the development or revision of standards.

Programme

Environmental thinking: identifying how human activities can interact with our environment
Exploring the value of addressing environmental aspects through standardization
Looking at and applying tools and sources information, help and support for addressing environmental aspects in standards making activities, including:
 - Case studies and examples of best practice
 - Online tools and templates
The opportunity to secure individual support for your specific committees
This revised course will also include updates on the mandatory inclusion by CEN of environmental requirements into the standardization process.

Dates

Training sessions will take place at the CEN/CENELEC Meeting Centre in Brussels from 9:30 until 16:30 on the following dates:

27 April 2010
