BSI is very pleased to welcome Howard Kerr as the new Group Chief Executive, following Stevan Breeze’s departure in July. Formerly Chief Executive of Calor Group Limited (UK) and Senior Vice-President of SHV GAS, Netherlands, Howard will take over full responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the Group from 1 January 2009. He brings with him a wealth of international industry and commercial experience including extended assignments in the Middle East, Asia and the UK.
Howard said of his new role, “It is a privilege to be joining an organization with BSI’s pedigree. With a portfolio of 2,000 new standards published each year, 80,000 clients served from 56 offices globally and underpinned by a brand renowned across the world, BSI is a leader in its field. I am very much looking forward to working with the BSI management team and staff around the world to develop the business in existing and new areas.”
