British Standards Online (BSOL), the premium subscription platform for accessing British, adopted European and international standards, has been re-launched. BSI British Standards now directly manages the content, the platform and customer relationships. With improved usability and discovery tools, the platform will enable users to find the content they need, faster.
Following a successful launch and pilot programme (involving 21 customers and 300 users), the BSOL team had thoroughly tested and fine-tuned the product interface, migration process and support mechanisms in readiness for the final migration of the remaining 700 customers and 22,000 users over the weekend of 17/18th November. BSI actively engaged with customers throughout the pilot and enhanced the site according to the feedback.
The re-launch marks the start of an ongoing development path which will ensure that the growth of the platform is informed by a thorough understanding of our customers and the competitive landscape in which we operate. This is an exciting time for BSI: by placing customers at the heart of our strategy and development roadmap, the opportunities for adding value will be significant.
