
You will recently have received a general communication about the developments to move AITS funding to an online system.
During November, December and January we are running a pilot with 50 Committee Members which will test the online system both the meeting registration and the expenses payment parts of the system.
You will be kept updated on progress by email as the project proceeds.
Why are we developing an online system?
The objective of moving to an online system is to increase efficiency by providing a prompt payment of claims using the BACS system.
Who is the online provider?
The system is provided by GlobalExpense. This system is used by BSI staff when claiming their own internal expenses
When will AITS move to online?
Once the pilot project is completed and we have assessed feedback we will no doubt have some adjustments to make to the system. We envisage it will available from April 2008.
Can I still use the old system once AITS moves to online?
We are already aware of some limitations to the system that will mean the existing system is likely to continue in tandem with the online for a certain period of time and for certain users. More information will be known nearer to launch.
