As previously reported, with DTI support we are developing committee member training via eLearning. This advancement allows you to access training modules at a time and location convenient to you.
During 2006-7, committee member training is moving from being entirely classroom based to a blended learning approach, combining classroom based learning with eLearning. Early in the year we launched the first of these modules, supporting the recently revised BS 0. The second module will be launched very soon and is entitled ‘An Introduction to the Standardization Process’.
Development of other eLearning modules for the remaining committee member training courses will follow on from this. We are aiming to launch courses on ISO procedures, CEN procedures, as well as IEC and CENELEC procedures in the near future.
