The ISO Global Directory is aimed at harmonizing and simplifying the registration and management of data concerning the individuals who act as ISO member body representatives in technical committees, subcommittees and working groups.
The ISO Global Directory is a database which allows ISO member bodies to register individuals as their representatives on ISO committees and/or in other functions. The ISO Global Directory version 2 has been enhanced to support the management of all business roles in ISO and, in particular, to ensure full implementation of the requirements defined by the ISO Council regarding privacy and the protection of personal data.
The ISO Central Secretariat plans to introduce the ISO Global Directory as the preferred tool for registering and maintaining users and their roles in the standards development process in ISO. This means that all individuals acting in the various roles will be registered and maintained in the ISO Global Directory. Further information will follow from your BSI contacts.
