Issue 1, Winter 2005
Welcome to the first edition of our new e-newsletter for committee members. Let me start by wishing you all a Merry Christmas. We will be using this newsletter to let you know about any developments in British Standards and the initiatives we're undertaking to improve the way we work with you through facilities, events, training and communications.
In this edition we update you on progress to revise BS 0 A Standard for Standards to simplify the rules guiding the process by which standards are prepared. We also introduce you to the senior management team and fill you in on some structural changes inside British Standards. There's a review of recent events to promote or discuss standardization and information on some publications we think will be of interest.
As always we welcome your feedback so please do send us your comments or suggestions for future articles.
