This NEW online and PDA-accessible product gives you a state-of-the-art means of checking how your health and safety management system measures up.
BSi has developed a new online product which could revolutionize the way standards are used in the workplace. The first of these products to be developed is the H&S Quick-Check. This is an online self-assessment tool which is compatible with PDA technology and allows organizations to measuring their occupational health & safety management system against the requirements of BSI health and safety standards.
H&S Quick-Check uses a series of questions to interrogate your health and safety system. It provides an online report and summary that highlight where your health and safety management system is working well and where it needs attention.
As well as the question sets and reporting function, H&S Quick-Check contains:
- BS 8800: 2004 Occupational health and safety management systems – Guide
- OHSAS 18001: 1999 Occupational health and safety management systems – Specification
- OHSAS 18002: 2000 Occupational health and safety management systems – Guidelines for the implementation of OHSAS 18001
- Managing Safety the Systems Way: Implementing OHSAS 18001 using BS 8800, by David Smith, Geoff Hunt and Clive Green.
The complete documents are supplied as PDFs, and relevant sections provide ‘quick guidance’ on the requirements for each of the 16 sections in the assessment tool. Together, these documents provide the information and guidance needed to maintain and check an occupational health and safety management system.
