BRC Global Standard for Food Safety (Issue 7)

Now in use around the world, BRC Global Standard for Food Safety was developed by UK retailers and suppliers in the late 1990’s to consolidate a wide variety of food management standards to make compliance easier for food businesses large and small. Published in January 2015, the BRC Global Standard for Food Safety – Issue 7, specifies the food safety, quality and operational criteria required to be in place within a food manufacturing organisation to fulfil legal compliance and the protection of the consumer.
