BSI Group America Inc. (BSI) announced today that Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s Managed Services unit has successfully achieved global certification to ISO/IEC 27001 for Information Security, ISO/IEC 20000 for IT Service Management and ISO 9001 for Quality. As one of the largest information technology companies in the world, this global certification covers more than 450 HPE locations across six continents and helps ensure that all of its operations follow internationally-recognized best practice regarding quality, information technology management and information security.
Obtaining this level of certification ensures a consistent level of oversight that gives clients peace of mind that they will receive the same, standardized level of service at each of Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s managed services sites globally.

Certifying to ISO/IEC 27001 validates that the governance and oversight of information security management has been confirmed to keep customer information at a high level of confidentiality, integrity and availability. With ISO/IEC 20000 certification, IT Service Management governance has been independently determined by BSI to support the IT Infrastructure and Application Management Services and addresses each organization’s technology requirements. In addition, ISO 9001 global certification helps bring assurance that the design, development and delivery of its technical solutions have quality woven throughout the governing business frameworks.

Each of these certifications were issued to HP Enterprise Services, LLC which is now branded as Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s Managed Services unit. This global certification is for three years with regularly-scheduled surveillance audits conducted to monitor continued adherence to the requirements of the three standards.
