Energy BSI Kitemark™ Schemes
BSI Kitemark™ for Microgeneration
Find out more about the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS). Included in the BSI Kitemark scheme is full MCS certification with BSI a UKAS accredited certification body. Certification to MCS is required by all installers and manufacturers of microgeneration products who want access to UK domestic government projects.
BSI Kitemark™ for Energy Reduction Verification
The new BSI Kitemark Energy Reduction Verification provides organisations with a means to prove their reductions in carbon dioxide emission resulting from energy use. In addition to satisfying internal stakeholders, certification to this BSI Kitemark scheme will enable those organisations required to participate in the Government’s Carbon Reduction Energy Efficiency Scheme to benefit from the Early Action Metric and a better position on the Performance League Table.
BSI Kitemark™ for Window Energy Rating
Based on the approved document L1B of the Building Regulations companies achieving a B rating under the BSI scheme will be eligible to apply for the Energy Savings Trust Recommended scheme.
