It is widely recognized that an efficient occupational health and safety management system promotes a safer and healthier working environment for everyone involved.

In response to the increasing demand for a global harmonized approach to health and safety, a new international standard for occupational health and safety management systems, ISO 45001, is now being developed and due to publish in October 2016.

To ensure users are involved from the very start, we invite you to attend this one-day event where you can learn more about what is being proposed as part of the new international standard and get involved in the debate.

With updates from the committee responsible for presenting the UK view at international level, you’ll be a key part of the public consultation process and have the chance to comment on the committee draft.

By attending, you’ll be able to:

  • Gain early understanding of what the new standard will look like
  • Take part in key areas of discussion and contribute to the UK view
  • Question those actively participating in the drafting and development of the new standard
  • Address concerns about how ISO 45001 may impact on organizations currently certified to OHSAS 18001
  • Discover challenges faced by business currently certified to OHSAS ISO 18001
